Customers have been reporting issues with uploading large files > 2 GB into the OpenWater platform for the past 3 days. Our apologies for not reporting it here sooner. Initially it was a scattering of reports across customers from university or corporate networks, however after the Thanksgiving holiday, as traffic returned to normal, we discovered this was a wide spread issue last night.
We passed along technical details to our File Uploads vendor: FileStack. It turns out that some updates made over Thanksgiving had resulted in issues accepting files > 2 GB from. Most OpenWater customers are limited to 2 GB uploads, however those that run video competitions are typically licensed to upload files up to 20 GB. We have tested back up to 20 GB uploads and can confirm the issue is resolved.
